I Am Writing A Movie Script

Well, I informed a good amount of you via Facebook that I was attempting to write my first movie script. I’ve wanted to write a script for a long while now. The Comedy genre really appeals to me and I feel I could make some lovable characters. The issue with this is … my idea for a perfect movie … is not the slightest bit funny. In fact, it’s almost sickening.

I took a complete 180 and went from Comedy to sort of Horror/Suspense or even Horror/Psychological Thriller. The idea sort of hit me like a brick when I was riding with a friend to get some pizza … I pitched it to him on the spot. We conversed different aspects I could travel and how much of a rise it could really cause. Subliminally there are some issues I want to cover with the movie and an overall message. I fear that everyone will take it direct. I want the viewer to look outside of the box when they watch or even read the story. I will probably write the story before adapting it to a legible film script.

Motivation is always an issue with me to finish anything. Hopefully I can nail the dedication needed to fulfill this idea for an awesome story. I have a few people already wanting to read material .. so that’s a plus.

I can’t share the entire story with any of you because it isn’t complete. No where near complete actually. I will share my hook for the story with you peeps. Get excited!

(A hook is essential!)

”A Catholic Priest takes his beliefs to a whole new level by torturing and brutally murdering those he deems unfit to live.”

I will keep you peeps updated on my progress.
